Vowels and Numerals contd...

LESSON 7

In the class on January 7th, 2011, we learnt  4 new vowels. With these 4 alphabets we completed the study of all 16 vowels in Sanskrit.

ओ,       औ,        अं   and       अ:

Homework:

1. Write the vowels ओ,  औ, अं and अ: 100 times. Please remember to pronounce the words while writing.
2. Please revise the numbers from 1 to 17. You should be comfortable saying the numbers as well as writing the numerals in Sanskrit.
3. We will also continue introducing ourselves and learning the meaning of our names. To make it interesting for everybody, as each of you introduce yourselves and explain the meaning of your names, if you can include any anecdotes or associations about your name it would be wonderful.

We will meet again on January 14th.
