Vowels and Numerals contd...

LESSON 6

In the class on December 17th, we learnt  2 more vowels

ए

and

ऐ

We also saw how to count in Sanskrit to 15.
Chaturdasa (१४) Fourteen
Panchadasa (१५) Fifteen

Homework:

1. Write the vowels ए and ऐ 100 times. Please remember to pronounce the words while writing.
2. Please revise the numbers from 1 to 15. You should be comfortable saying the numbers as well as writing the numerals in Sanskrit.
3. We will also continue introducing ourselves and learning the meaning of our names. To make it interesting for everybody, as each of you introduce yourselves and explain the meaning of your names, if you can include any anecdotes or associations about your name it would be wonderful.

We will meet again in 2011.
