We have been reviewing the Swaras & Vyanjanas over the last two sessions. We will be continuing to revise the first two vargas, until there is complete mastery of swara-vyanjana combination. Further, the class should be able to recognize the character and pronounce it correctly as well as be able to write the correct script when the alphabet is pronounced.
For your benefit, I am attaching a cheat sheet below. You will notice that the swaras (vowels) are represented as column headings while the vyanjanas (consonants) are represented as row headings.

A Learning Tip
One good exercise to improve your Sanskrit alphabet learning is to start recognizing the characters in the Sanskrit text in the slokas you recite. You can perfect your pronunciations as well as improve the sight recognition of the characters as you go along.
Here is a recent article from THE HINDU newspaper on the rediscovery of Sanskrit in China. It is truly inspirational that scholars and students in China are delving deep into the Sanskrit language to better understand the ancient Buddhist scriptures written in Sanskrit.
